Mayor Jerry Jennings and the City of Albany are pleased to present the headliners on this year's Tulip Festival main stage. Sponsored by WEQX, the Tulip Fest main stage will feature:
Most people know OK Go from their videos, especially those treadmills a few years ago. The colorful release of their most recent video(s) for the single
“This Too Shall Pass” has created a media frenzy by breaking a YouTube record with over 8 million hits in 2 weeks. But don’t let that distract you, the best part of OK Go is still the music. Their infectious melodies create an exuberant buzz of fun and happiness and youth…and rock 'n roll. Keep your eye out for them before they come into town, because in the next month they’ll visit Carson Daly (4/16), David Letterman (4/28), Steven Colbert (4/29), AND Jimmies: Kimmel (4/1) & Fallon (5/4)...
- The Constellations (2:15pm - 3:15pm)
Magnetic front-man Elijah Jones is accompanied by a 5-piece group whose debut album Southern Gothic was created to mirror the after hours of the band’s stomping grounds, Atlanta,Georgia. Their lyrics weave through well thought out melodies as well as sonically disorganized sounds.
- Trevor Hall (1:00pm - 1:45pm)
An unconventional mix of acoustic rock and reggae. His songs are infused with a deep sense of spirituality, as evidenced in the lead single “Unity,” written and performed on his debut album with his friend and well known reggae artist Matisyahu.
A full entertainment schedule for the two-day event will be announced soon. For more information visit
