Albany NY – Today Mayor Gerald D. Jennings announced that FEMA Disaster Assistance relative to flooding and damages to homes and property as a result of the storm between April 14 2007 and April 18 2007 has been made available.

The attached information sheet outlines pertinent contact information. Please know that residents must individually register with FEMA by June 23, 2007 at www.fema.gov.

"A number of homes and adjoining properties experienced damage from the heavy rains during this April period, and I am happy to notify our City’s residents that they may be eligible for disaster aid,” said Mayor Jennings. “I encourage any resident that experienced damage during this time period to register with FEMA."
