Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month - An Evening with Dr. Havidan Rodriguez

The City of Albany invites you to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Dr. Havidan Rodriguez on Wednesday, October 18 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in City Hall. Dr. Rodriguez is UAlbany's 20th president and the first Latino president of a four-year State University of New York institution. A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Rodriguez will discuss the importance of higher education to the Latino/a and broader community and the centrality of inclusive excellence to the success of an urban public research university.

Mayor Sheehan invites you to consider supporting the Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort for Puerto Rico by bringing batteries, flashlights, portable lanterns, diapers, baby wipes, cases of water or feminine hygiene products to this event. All items must be unopened and in their original packaging.
