Block by BlockBlock by Block is an initiative designed to enhance the quality of life
in Albany's neighborhoods. City staff is moving block by block,
building by building and lot by lot through the City of Albany to
strategically address code compliance, public safety, abandoned
buildings and community development. At the same time, the initiative
is taking a hard look at the City's business model and information flow
to create an updated and more efficient system for communication
between City departments. You may contact Block by Block non- emergency hotline at 518-434-0123.

Assessment Database OnlineThe City of Albany has launched a web-based assessment database application. Residents are now able to search for and compare data from parcels around the city. To learn more about and use this newly developed feature, visit the Department of Assessment and Taxation.
